Our Faith Demonstrations
Baptism: Baptism is the act of being immersed completely underwater. Baptism does not bring salvation. It is a symbolic demonstration of our salvation experience. Being lowered under the water is a picture of being buried to your old life of sin. Coming up out of the water is a symbol of arising to a new life as a believer in Jesus.
Church Membership: Church membership demonstrates our commitment to join a local group of fellow believers in order to worship, grow as a disciple, minister to others in need, and share the good news about Jesus and His salvation.
Lord’s Supper: At Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. the Lord’s Supper is an observance that Jesus instructed His followers to do regularly. It is a reminder that Jesus died on the cross for each of us. The bread reminds us of His broken body and the juice is a symbol of His blood that fell that day.
